The RRC is an Alaskan non-profit 501 c (6) corporation founded by Alaskans with a diverse membership including commercial fishermen, natives, lodge owners, sport fishers and hunters along with many others. The mission of the Renewable Resources Coalition is to preserve and protect the ongoing viability of Alaska’s abundant fishing and hunting resources and the lands and waters they need to survive.

This is the premier fishing and wildlife area in all of Alaska and toxic by-products are an inevitable result of large open pit mines like the proposed Pebble miine.. The spawning waters of Bristol Bay are the source of the most productive commercial and sport salmon fisheries in the world.
